Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work to incorporate the latest quantum design and analysis ideas into existing EDA solutions.
Possible projects include:
Extending the workflow in Circuit sim and QuantumPro with new features to enhance the quantum design of superconducting and other types of qubits
Translating from the EDA domain into and out of Hamiltonian representations
EM/Circuit technology enhancements
Creating a quantum PDK with layout, components, and models for quantum foundries such as superconducting and trapped ions
Creating compelling examples of superconducting and other types of qubits
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with EDA software development for EM and/or Circuits OR PhD in Computational Electromagnetics
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related fields
Solid background in computational electromagnetics (MOM, Finite Element, etc)
Strong C++ programming skills
Solid knowledge of Microwave Engineering
Growth Mindset
Strong communication skills
A result-driven, self-motivator able to follow the Agile software development process
Ability to work with multiple teams to deliver results
Desired skills:
Understanding of SPICE simulator and Netlists
Knowledge or experience in Device Modeling is a plus
