Leidos is currently interviewing for 2024 summer Software Engineering Internship positions in Lynnwood, WA.
We seek college technical interns to be part of a team of engineers addressing emerging challenges in Maritime Systems.
The candidate will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of Leidos contracts.
Leidos will provide the candidate with real world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship, which may result in full-time employment opportunities upon graduation.
Responsibilities are anticipated to include being part of an integrated test team, writing user interface and simulation software, developing algorithms and computer models, supporting the design of autonomous vehicles, performing model runs, benchmarking hardware performance, and building user interfaces.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Must be rising senior class level, graduating 2025, with a minimum 3.
0 GPA
Must be experienced with C++ or a similar language
Must have experience working within a Linux environment
US citizenship is required, as well as eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement.
Most importantly, an entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter attitude is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one of the following is helpful, but not required: surface or underwater vehicles, game theory, autonomy, environmental modeling, simulations or communication protocols, human factors, or user interface development.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,850.
00 - $81,075.
