Great home needed for sweet dog in desperate need of some training.
"Beans" is about a year and a half old.
Neutered male current on all vaccines, but not chipped.
He is a mix, and we're not really sure what he is.
He looks like he has lab, a little pit maybe, and either some heeler or shorthair pointer.
My brother was diagnosed with leukemia early in 2020.
He was in the hospital, and due to COVID-19 was not able to have any visitors or see anyone.
On top of this, he and his girlfriend's dog passed while he was in the hospital.
I donated stem cells to him for a stem cell transplant and he is fully in remission.
He started getting healthier and about a year later we got him his puppy.
In the last 9+ months he is now struggling with graft vs.
host disease.
This is basically where my healthy stem cells see his cells as the enemy and attack them.
His health has declined rapidly, and he is very, very sick.
On Wednesday his longtime girlfriend and caregiver passed away in her sleep.
He found her.
He cannot take
care of himself much less a very high energy, exuberant dog.
"Beans" definitely needs training and a lot of exercise.
He is rowdy and rambunctious.
He jumps, he gets all up in your business and he is horrible on a leash.
He is however, very sweet.
Very loving, and cuddly.
He gets along with other dogs, just wants to play, play, play! He needs someone with the time, experience, patience and energy to get him under control.
He is house trained and crate trained as well.
