Wakefield Residential is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager with excellent communication skills and a track record of providing outstanding service and driving exceptional performance in the multi-family residential industry to serve as the Assistant Manager at The Lodge Apartments in Marysville, WA.

To achieve our goal, the AM will work closely with the Property Manager and Leasing team to ensure all residents enjoy personalized attention and high-quality services.
As a key member of the team, the AM will wear many hats as they assist with operations, leasing activity, renewals, collections, financial reporting, community relations and communications.
*Responsibilities:*
· Ensure resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests in a timely manner
· Work to obtain lease renewals each month
· Maintain accurate resident records
· Enter invoices into YARDI software
· Post/update all incoming monies into YARDI software
· Collection of rent and ancillary fees from residents
· Coordinate collection efforts of past due accounts
· Physically inspect property, grounds and buildings and report service needs to maintenance staff
· Inspection of move-outs and vacancies as needed
· Perform other duties as assigned
*Required Skills/Abilities:*
· 3 or more years in residential property management
· Proficiency in Yardi Property Management Software
· Excel experience/skills
· High school education or equivalent from an accredited institution is required
· Strong familiarity with Fair Housing and EEO laws
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
· Strong customer service orientation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Flexibility in adapting to new situations

*Physical Demands:*
· Occasional travel to various other properties and the corporate office in Bellevue
· Walking the property campus regularly
· Conducting property tours as needed
· Touring comparable rental properties on a regular basis
· Frequent sitting and walking
· Repetitive use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone
· Reading, comprehending, writing, performing calculations, communicating orally, reasoning and analyzing
· Occasional squatting, bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, pushing/pulling/lifting to 25lbs
*Work Environment:*
· Position is performed in an apartment community office environment
· Standard office hours are typically Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm
· Business demand may necessitate additional hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
