*Full Charge Bookkeeper* The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage all of Vista Clara’s business bookkeeping and records for A/R and A/P, payroll; taxes, commercial and health insurance, audits, record maintenance, purchasing, shipping, and building management.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will work from Vista Clara’s office in Mukilteo, WA.
*Key Areas of Responsibility:* * Manage and maintain the company's general ledger, including recording transactions, accruals, reconciling accounts, and completing month-end closing.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and managing vendor relationships.
* Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
* Prepare and process payroll twice a month, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
* Coordinate and track domestic and international shipments working with brokers and carriers using appropriate documentation.
* Manage purchase orders for company departments to ensure accurate accounting of costs and generate expense reports.
* Ensure all building and tenant utilities, maintenance, improvements, and loans are invoiced and paid on a monthly basis.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes as well as financial statements and reports.
* Manage payment of company insurance including export, auto, employee medical, and other required insurance coverages.
* Conduct internal audits of company insurance and external audits of government contract record maintenance.
*Education and Experience:* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience in small business bookkeeping or accounting.
* Payroll processing experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Compensation:* * $30.
00 to $32.
