Full Charge Bookkeeper

Responsibilities: - Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to: - Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable - Processing payroll and ensuring accurate tax withholding - Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions - Maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements - Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes - Conducting month-end and year-end closing procedures - Prepare and file various tax forms, such as sales tax returns and payroll tax reports - Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits - Provide financial analysis and reporting to management as needed Experience: - Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks - Experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation - Familiarity with technical accounting standards and regulations - Ability to perform accurate 10-key typing for data entry purposes Skills: - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Please note that this is a general job description outlining the typical responsibilities and requirements of a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
