Job Summary: The Accounting Clerk I will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with various tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and the review of financial documents for accuracy.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a solid foundation in basic accounting principles.
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform accounts payable and receivable data entry with high level of accuracy.
Review and verify billing statements and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Monitor Accounts Payable aging reports to ensure timely payments.
Assist in resolving accounting discrepancies under the supervision of the accounting manager.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all financial laws and company policies regarding data handling and privacy.
Collaborate with supervisor to support accounting operations and month-end closing processes.
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
Assist with audit preparations as needed.
