JOB TITLE: Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
JOB STATUS: Non-exempt, part-time
RATE: $20-25 (DOE)
REPORTS TO: General Manager
LOCATION: Hybrid (1121 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA and remote in Washington)
Overview
The part-time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Quimper
Mercantile Marketing Team, Buyer Team and the General Manager to develop successful social media
and marketing campaigns.
We are looking for a talented, organized, and energetic self-starter to
produce, review and publish content aligned with company goals, branding, and image.
Essential Functions
• Manage Instagram and Facebook social media accounts.
• Manage Constant Contact account, including maintaining email lists.
• Update company website monthly or as needed.
• Respond to social media inboxes.
• Produce, review, and publish consistent and engaging content, including email blasts and
announcements, advertising, branding, digital, and social media.
• Maintain database of content and digital marketing assets.
• Create content messaging that aligns with our brand and image.
• Create social media and marketing campaign strategy and schedules in collaboration with Marketing
and Buyer Teams and General Manager.
• Pull metrics to determine success of campaigns and adjust to meet campaign goals.
• Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Attend all staff meetings as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of Social Media required
• Experience working with Facebook, Instagram, Constant Contact and Totera preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in similar role, or equivalent responsibilities, preferred
• Experience with video and photo editing preferred
• Excellent copywriting, spelling, and grammar skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
