The Sr.
Manager, Energy Marketing is responsible for developing, leading and executing programs designed to drive timely cultural connection, audience expansion and further establish Funko as the leader in pop-culture collectibles within the tastemaker audience segment.
In partnership with marketing leadership and cross-functional leads, the Sr.
Manager will build our energy roadmap and calendar, identify and conduct outreach with potential collaboration and brand partners, create overall program strategies, and drive the entirety of the go-to-market process through execution.
A new role to the Funko brand and marketing team, the Sr.
Manager is a critical contributor to driving both top-of-funnel brand heat as well as the sale of program-related products.
Equal parts creative thinker and tactical planner, the Sr.
Manager is tapped-in to pop culture and has a deep understanding of the forces that shape and move trend and conversation.
They are also clear on Funko’s core brand DNA, the pillars of pop culture we currently live in and the passionate fans and community we have.

Manager will deliver upon the challenge to stretch Funko into new territory, exciting the culture movers and expanding our audience with the ultimate goal of delivering on our mission to be the leader in pop culture collectibles.

What You’ll Do · Lead the ideation, planning and execution of Funko’s integrated campaigns for all energy programs, including quick-to-market opportunities and collaborations.
Push boundaries by testing innovative go-to-market strategies targeted to key consumers, bringing innovation to the forefront of our plans and activations.
· Craft thoughtful and compelling campaign briefs and lead cross-functional Product, Marketing, Creative and Commercialization teams to bring them to life · Lead partner relations and serve as the single point of communication throughout the campaign planning and execution process · Develops and implements new processes and ways of working with the goal of scaling energy programs over time · Closely plan and monitor marketing spend to measure impact of marketing efforts and identify opportunities to optimize spend for future campaigns.
· Establish campaign KPIs and lead post-mortems across functions to drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies.
· Maintain energy marketing calendar and cross-functional inputs/deliverables to ensure timely delivery of supporting plans and assets.
· Lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Bring · Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field · 7-9 years of Marketing experience · Experience driving energy marketing programs for a well known consumer brand, ideally in the apparel, footwear or consumer goods space · Vast knowledge of integrated marketing best practices, with a willingness to share/lead/implement best practices across functions · Ability to interpret data, analytics and consumer insights - synthesizing information to inform future plans · Tapped into pop-culture and fandoms with an in-depth understanding of consumer affinities across film/television, music, sports, anime, etc.
with a keen eye for culture · Demonstrated ability to think from a consumer lens; always putting the fan at the forefront of strategies, programs and initiatives · Comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment · Exceptional organizational skills · Excellent people and management skills, with a high comfort level of holding cross-functional peers accountable for on-time deliverables · Desire to remain up to date on consumer trends and marketing best practices.
· Excellent people and management skills to effectively collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams Salary Information The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,000 - $130,500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
